Worst Experience :
One of the defining moments in Vishal’s journey came early in his career. His maternal uncle gave him ₹10 lakhs to invest — a major turning point that offered both opportunity and a tough lesson.• Vishal invested in UCO Bank, buying 10,000 shares at ₹20 each. The stock soon rose to ₹30–35, but just as things looked promising, a market crash forced him to exit at a loss. This experience taught him the unpredictability of discretionary trading and led him to explore systematic, rule-based strategies
Embracing Algorithmic and Rule-Based Trading:
Since 2002, Vishal has shifted entirely to algorithmic trading. Now, he sets up his trades before the market opens, and the automated system executes them — allowing him to stay relaxed during market hours.His approach is rooted in discipline and consistency, believing that rules outperform emotions in trading. Vishal is a strong advocate for systematic, mechanical strategies backed by data and technical analysis.
Directional Option Selling (DOS) – A Unique Strategy
Among the strategies he shares, one notable method is called DOS (Directional Option Selling) — a trading system that combines technical analysis with options trading. This strategy allows traders to capitalize on directional moves in the market using defined rules and entry/exit conditions.
